Pee Wee Soccer

Ian is playing his first "somewhat" organized sport. He is playing indoor soccer. He loves it for the most part but I am afraid he got his Dad and Mom's slow running genes! He runs as fast as he can and finally gets to the ball right after it is being kicked by another kid. I think this frustrates him a little, but it is so cute to watch him run around. When they first get there they all run a lap around the gym, then they stretch, learn a new skill, and finally attempt to play a soccer game. I hope this is the start of many sporting events to come as he gets older. I just get so excited with my big dreams of watching him participate in other sporting events someday.

Ian looks like such a big boy! Gabe and Avery loved to see him with his soccer team. I can just picture that little minnie Michael running down the field trying to kick the ball. I wish I could see it!

Watching your child play sports is so much fun. I love watching Damon, too. I think I will be one of those parents that drives their kid crazy, because I get really into it. I need to learn to bite my tongue.

I love the soccer pictures!!! Don't feel bad that Ian's not in preschool. If you put him in next year, he'll get two years of preschool before he starts kindergarten. That's good enough. That's why I didn't put Amelia in last year because I figured two years of it was enough. Marykay took them today, so I'm home alone. It's nice to get the house clean, but I miss her. I'm a baby.

I can't believe that he is old enough to play soccer already. He is so cute and I think he looks very athletic.

I started laughing about the "slow running genes". Those were the days... Where does he play peewee soccer? That looks like fun! Olivia's pics are adorable.
