For those who care, this is how we celebrated our birthday: Michael woke up early and took a three hour final while I slept in until 10:30 with the kids. I was awakened by a birthday phone call, which was a nice way to start the day. When Michael got home we went to the DMV and renewed our drivers licenses, so much fun!!!
Here are a few pictures Ian snapped of us; he was so funny taking our pictures. This is what he said, "Okay, smile, now kiss, one more, yup that was a cute one." Love four year olds, well at least my four year old.
A little while later we dropped these two kids off at my friends house so we could go on a date!
We went to Palio's because they hook you up for your birthday. We got 1/2 off of our ticket as well as...
Two FREE desserts.
After dinner we went to a local bookstore and redeemed some coupons to get free books. Well, we had to pay a little, but who's complaining?! Not me!
We both had a very nice birthday and loved all the comments, texts, and phone calls from everyone! THANKS!!!!

Oh you guys are so cute! I'm glad you had a good day. I told my mom I was so sad that you didn't have any presents to open but it looks like you had a great day anyway. I think it would be so fun to share the same birthday as Callin. You guys are lucky.
Um that green pasta dish looks yucky. What was it? Glad you guys still had a great time, and being smart with the money too. Happy Birthday again.
P.S. The DMV doesn't sound good. They shouldn't expire licenses on the birthday, maybe the day after.

Only a few days until you're back in Mormon country. Can't wait to see all of you. However, when we go pick up Jeff and Lea at the airport and if the weather is good we are going to stay in Salt Lake a while to stroll around temple square and see the lights. Lea informed us last night that she wanted to do that. So we may not get home until late. Unless we take two vehicles you could come with us. Talk to you later. Mom
