This kid LOVES chess and wants to play all day everyday, he must be bored! P.S. In case you are wondering I played him the other day and we tied. Either he is really good or I am really bad. :) Don't forget to click on the picture to see it better.
It looks like you are a pretty good photographer...I don't know why you'd need any tips from me...what kind of camera and lens do you have? I pretty much taught myself. I think that's the best way. you are lucky enough to have two cute subjects to practice on too. just practice, practice, practice. I also look at A LOT of photography sites and sometimes they give advice. If you have an opportunity to go to any photo workshops, do it. I would love to, but they're a little too expensive for me...(still gotta put my hubby through college!) but...I guess my best advice is to practice, and be confident in what you do..(still struggling a little there..) Lol, but yeah...I think you're doing a great job. Keep it up! Let me know if you have any other questions! I'm glad you remembered me...lol
Wow! I'm impressed. This is embarrassing, but I don't even know how to play chess. Terrible! I guess I'll have to learn, maybe right along with my kids.
tell ian he can play me all he wants when i come down cause i've really been wanting to play for a while now cause i have a cool chess set and no one to play it with so i just try to beat the computer which is impossible!! He'll kick my butt!
that was not a good picture of me!...couldn't you see the pain in my face!!! hahaha that is some great pictures. We love chess in this family too. I would say it is one of Matthew's and John's favorites to play. I'm not so good!

Damon likes it, too. I think it reminds him of Age of Empires (the computer game.)
You teach your kids how to play chess and we just taught Xander how to play Go Fish. Am I missing something here?
