IdEaS

I have been getting a few requests for taking pictures this summer when I am back in the Idaho/Utah area. First off, I am flattered that you think of me as someone that is capable of this, and second off, I don't know if I am capable. :) HAHA! I am excited to venture into the world of photography on a somewhat amateur/professional level. I am trying to figure out lots of things in the area of photography but in the mean time, here is what I am thinking of for prices.
$25 for a sitting fee & $50 for a CD with all edited photos. I am not sure on all the details but this is a ballpark number for those that are interested.

P.S. How do you like my watermark? Kim, I think I need your help on something a little more creative. :)

Sounds awesome. Count me in. I'm only the second person to comment so I hope that means I am high on the list. I like the watermark. I think you should decide soon if it is what you like and stick with it.

Good for you! That's exciting! I may have to schedule something...it would be just me. I'm in need of some good photos for my site...lol...just a suggestion...I would either set a time limit, or a number of pictures that you'll edit. I always take a million pics and when I first started I was editing those million pics, and it can get pretty overwhelming. I still struggle with my pricings, and I think I'll change it soon, but that's just a suggestion from me!: )

I have a friend that is a professional photographer and she charges 100 for a session with all her edited photos on CD. I think that is an awesome price for what you get. GOing on location and everything. So 75 since you are just starting out sounds fair to me. :)

Those prices sound good to me! I am so excited for you to make us look as good as your kids. I am due May 27, so anytime after that should work for us? What are your plans this summer?

Can you come to Washington and take pictures of my family? I love it that you are such a talented photographer, and your kids will sure have some neat pictures for their baby books!

Um, if you go to Washington, then you'll have to come to Oregon! J/K! I really hope we get to come home sometime this summer, and then you can take all the pictures you want of my little turkeys! Love ya.

are you kidding? you're fabulous and very much capable! seems like everyone else thinks so too cuz they want you! chris and i would love some glam shots, maybe a 1/2 serious sesh and a 1/2 goofy sesh i'm thinking with our baby (the scooter). haha, j/k, but i was really telling chris the other day i'm over our engagement pics, we've almost been married 3 years, it's time for glam shots by cordie!

p.s. coming from a graphic designer, i love it! i don't think it needs to change and i think it screams 'professional photographer'

how long are you guys going to be out here? let us know if you can fit us in !

Wow Cordie, Maybe we won't be seeing all that much of you. Sounds like you'll be busy making a few bucks. Good for you. I'm excited that you're taking off on the next level. You really do a great job with photography. You bring a lot of fresh new ideas to an old profession. Have fun with it. Mom

I'm SO excited for you! It's so fun learning. . .and it's a never ending process. You do a great job and I think your prices are perfect. I'm leaning more to taking time off from my computer. . .there is a time and season(: I love your pictures. My only advice would be to keep up on the ones of your kids while doing everyone elses. and Good luck cause you'll do great!
