Idaho Falls Tournament Champs!

Watching these boys play in the championship game was an emotional roller coaster! Both teams played out of their minds! I couldn't believe the talent in these young boys. Ian's cousin, Avery, was asked to play in the tournament because we were short a kid. It was neat to see Avery playing second and Ian playing first. They made some great plays together. Ian had a great tournament and played near perfect in the championship game. He made a play at first and then popped off his bag and threw a runner out at third, he had a triple in the game, and hit a double to score the tying run. The game went 9 innings and we ended up winning 17-16. Jace Saunders stole home on a ball that went behind the catcher to win the game! After all the celebrating the team and parents gathered around to hear what Coach Baer had to say. He gave out two MVP balls, Ian got one of them. Coach called Ian "Mr. Consistant" I couldn't agree more. I am one proud Mom!
